These strips are meant to be attached to a hook with a pin rig or a double hook setup and then ran behind a lure such as a sea witch. These larger strips are typically run on a planar behind a 1 to 3 oz seawitch or larger or an islander-type lure. Rumour has it some customers target Marlin with these in the Atlantic waters. We reccomend buying a few packs of strips in addition to the rigged strips. As you get bites you can ,replace the old bonito strips and effectively have a new lure, saving both time and money.
